This devotional has 60 short chapters which Guthrie takes an Old Testament passage, starting with Genesis, and couples it with a passage in the New Testament to point the reader to Jesus Christ. My seven year old loves them and reads them to me (I actually like the stories as well. I was able to read this book from beginning to end with an interest to finish it. It's an intriguing look at the mix between the creative side of pop culture & entertainment, and the fans, especially now with the advent of social media & the interaction the two sides have on Twitter. Nothing worse than picking up a book, good story but the characters are Ken and Barbie clones. Bottom line: EMILY & EINSTEIN was a delightful story both emotional and touching, with several laugh out loud moments coming from Einstein.
